I’m using a Zubax Babel USB-CAN adapter to configure a Team BlackSheep DroneCAN-to-PWM adapter. TBS specifically recommended the Babel for setting the adapter’s node ID and parameters. I’m having trouble getting the Babel to communicate with the device and would appreciate your guidance. I’m trying to work out whether my Babel is set up for Cyphal/CAN rather than DroneCAN (UAVCAN v0), and whether that’s why it can’t talk to the TBS DroneCAN to PWM adapter. I cant seem to show my device on the DroneCAN GUI Tool.
Babel is just a pure protocol translator, it doesn’t operate at the level of Cyphal or DroneCAN – for Babel there is no difference. This is either a wiring problem or a software issue.
Have you tried this, does the device not show up or something?
