Zubax CanFace (both CF1 and CF2!) has a CLI interface, this is described in section 4.4 of the datasheet.
To connect to it, on Ubuntu one can use picocom

sudo apt-get install picocom
picocom -c /dev/serial/by-id/usb-Zubax_Robotics_Zubax_Babel_350038000B5746573337372000000000-if00
Note: To access help use Ctrl+A
and then Ctrl+H
