Fault: power stage malfunction

Device: Zubax FluxGrip FG40
Firmware: 1.0.a547756e3ef3fe6e.20b6926ab6dac962
Hardware version: 1.2
Transport: Cyphal / Classic CAN (MTU 8) @ 1 Mbps
Tooling: yakut 0.14.x, pycyphal

One FluxGrip unit consistently enters a latched fault state (VSSC = 8, Health = WARNING) whenever a magnet switching command is issued.

The fault clears successfully using uavcan.node.ExecuteCommand with command 0. Then immediately reappears on any of the following: ON (Bit.1.0 = true), OFF (Bit.1.0 = false) , FORCE (Integer8.1.0 = 2)

The unit remains healthy and idle while no magnet commands are sent. A second FluxGrip on the same CAN bus, using the same hardware+initializing setup, commands and configuration, works correctly. Any guidance on additional diagnostics or confirmation of hardware failure would be appreciated.

Hi Joseph!

The unit appears to have been damaged. We can ship you a replacement; please share the original order number and confirm that the previously used shipping address is still valid for the replacement.

It would be best if you could mail the failed magnet for investigation to:
