AD0505C/D flashing red, can't communicate with it

Hi

I recently received several AD0505C/D ESCs in Telega V0. When I try to connect them to UAVCan, they do not appear on the interface and flash red like this user bricked-escs-flashing-red-after-atttempted-rollback-from-v1-to-v0

  • If I power the ESC, connect the Babel, and launch UAVCAN → “SLCAN ACK timeout” error and the Babel stays lit in red (–> no longer happens after adding 120Ω between H and L but refers to the next point)

  • If Babel is connected, UAVCAN is launched, and then I power the ESC, nothing happens in the interface and the Babel flashes blue rapidly (passive error).

I tried installing Yukon, thinking that it might be in V1, but there was no response from the software; it did not detect it.

I have a Myxa in V0.2, connected with the same Babel, which is recognized on UAVCAN and Yukon.
I checked my wiring several times without success… I tried with a second AD0505C/D ESC and the problem persists…

This sounds more like you’re selecting the wrong serial port when trying to connect. The ACK timeout has nothing to do with the CAN bus itself, this is a problem between the application and the CAN adapter, not involving the bus.

This sounds like an electrical wiring problem. Are you sure the interface wires are soldered correctly?
