We made a new piece of lab hardware that can benefit some of our customers who are involved in the design and testing of electric propulsion systems for aeronautic applications.
Meet ZMEY-10:
This is an electric propulsion test rig rated for up to 500 N (~50 kgf) of thrust. We designed and built the steel frame and the data acquisition hardware for it; the latter is rated for up to 200 VDC, 100 A DC continuous, 200 A DC peak; the force gauges can be chosen between 500 N (pictured) and 1 kN for higher power setups.
